I’m pleased to report that I will now be a Contributing Editor at Planetizen, the “public-interest information exchange for the urban planning, design, and development community.” Walkability in neighborhoods, among other things, is a personal obsession of mine. I believe that the protection and development of thriving, diverse, mixed-income, mixed-use, walkable neighborhoods is critical to coping with what some are calling the Age of Loneliness. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to write about these issues and promote efforts to improve the way we move through our daily lives.
